40 over 40! We celebrate the Beauty and Power of Women over 40!
With 40 over 40 we celebrate the strength, beauty and joy of life of women over 40. This project wants to show that every phase of life has its own shine and that every woman has so much wisdom, passion and character. With powerful, impressive portraits we bring women from different backgrounds together in an exhibition - an experience that inspires the viewer to look at being a woman with new eyes.
We want to break stereotypes and spread a message of strength and self-acceptance. 40 over 40 invites you to join us in celebrating the life, depth and radiance of women in every moment of their lives.

From 2 February 2025, all images from the project will be on display in an exclusive exhibition at the ECI Cultuurfabriek. Visitors are invited to immerse themselves in an intimate and honest representation of being a woman in different stages of life, beyond the 40th birthday.
A Special Photo Book with Introductory Essay by Andrea Wieland
On the occasion of the exhibition, all images will be collected in a unique photo book. Andrea Wieland, German writer and participant in the project, will provide an inspiring introductory essay. Her sharp eye offers a profound reflection on beauty and being a woman. The book will be available from the opening of the exhibition and can be pre-ordered by e-mail from now on.
