Hi, I'm Ania
Ever since I can remember, I have been fascinated by beautiful women on magazine covers and portraits found in museums. The appearance, beauty and strength of the women appeal to my imagination. But when I looked in the mirror, I didn't feel valuable enough to be immortalized in the same way. I only saw my imperfections and shortcomings. I thought I wasn't beautiful enough, not slim enough and not important enough for such a portrait.

As an adult woman, I found a way to express my passion for photography by photographing others. I loved doing it, but I remained unsure about my own added value. I wondered if my work was good enough and if I could charge money for it. This insecurity was deeply rooted and hindered my growth and development as a woman and as a photographer.
One day, when everything seemed to be going wrong, I decided to take a glamor photo of myself.
I had nothing to lose, I thought, so why not? When I went to the studio I was well prepared. I knew what I wanted, what I wanted to look like and what I wanted to radiate. I had the image in my head.
I took the photo. And what happened was something magical. The photo wasn't just any photo. It was the whole journey there. It was the realization that I am worthy of making a portrait of myself. That I am worth taking care of myself. That I am worthy of embracing my own beauty and strength. This experience has given me the strength to step out of my negative thought patterns and see myself as a confident woman.
And the photo? It now hangs enlarged in my studio! It reminds me every day of who I am and helps me to be my best self. And I know that with such a special photo session I can also help other women see and embrace their beauty and strength. Together we can create a world where everyone feels valuable and strong.
